Marina L. McCormick is a workers’ compensation defense attorney in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina office. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Summa Cum Laude, from West Virginia University in 2016 and her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Marina served as Articles Editor of The Alabama Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review, Board Member of the Campbell Moot Court Competition, and as a family court mediator in the Mediation Clinic. Marina received numerous awards while in law school, including the Order of the Samaritan, Deans Community Service Award, and the Pro Bono award. She was also a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society and Vice-President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Throughout her studies, Marina was also able to spend a semester studying law at both The University of Manchester in The United Kingdom and Australia National University in Canberra, Australia.
Marina was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2019 and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association. She is originally from Williamstown, West Virginia, but is now proud to call Greenville her home. In her time outside of work, she enjoys escaping to the beach, playing tennis, and cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Alabama Crimson Tide!
