Allison Molony Carter practices in the firm’s Charleston, South Carolina office where she served as managing shareholder from 2003 through 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Management from Clemson University in 1986. She earned her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina in 1989 where she was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and the Order of the Wig and Robe.
Allison was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1989 and is a member of The South Carolina Bar Association and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association. She became a Certified SC Civil Court Mediator in 2005. She has been named to US News Best Lawyers® for Workers’ Compensation Law in 2013-2022. She was named to South Carolina Business Magazine Legal Elite for Workers’ Compensation in 2020 and 2021 and was also named to the Top Lawyer list for Workers’ Compensation Defense in the Lowcountry of South Carolina in 2020. Allison practices exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation defense and has an active mediation practice.
Allison lives in Charleston with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, boating, and supporting local artists.
